Chemically equivalent & Magnetically equivalent nuclei in NMR

Описание к видео Chemically equivalent & Magnetically equivalent nuclei in NMR

A group of nuclei having same chemicals shift in the NMR are called Chemically equivalent nuclei. These nuclei have the same chemical shift because of identical electronic environment. Chemically equivalent nuclei that couple equally to any nucleus in the same spin system are called. All the magnetically equivalent nuclei are chemically equivalent but reverse is not guaranteed. Nuclei having different chemical shifts are called Chemically non-equivalent nuclei. In this video, these three terms have been explain in details with appropriate examples.
