HAFLONG HILL TO JATINGA | Abandoned 100 Years Old Railway Track

We went hiking yesterday on the now defunct century old metre gauge railway track starting from Haflong Hill station till Jatinga station. After that we went on an uphill hike till Jatinga village which had breathtaking views of the barail range and more. From there we hiked back to Haflong via NH 627. We started our journey from Haflong town at 1:30 pm and we reached our starting point at around 7 pm. We took two breaks to eat some food that we packed from home. It was a beautiful day and many moments will always remain with us. Especially when we entered the tunnel after Haflong Hill and felt the cool breeze which blows inside the tunnel. And of course the old Jatinga station which is like a ghost town with so many stories blowing in the wind.
