Voices of Delaware Black History: Edna M. Sharp

Описание к видео Voices of Delaware Black History: Edna M. Sharp

As part of our "Growing Up Black in Delaware" series, we profiled Edna M. Sharp, one of the 11 Black students who attempted to integrate the all white Milford High School in 1954. Edna and the other Black students had just graduated from Banneker, the "colored" elementary school in Milford, and were looking to continue their education. Funded by the Delaware Heritage Commission, Delaware Humanities and Berkana, Center for Media and Education.
