Man Injured In Apparent Drive-By Shooting | Santa Ana, CA

08.22.2024 | 12:12 AM | SANTA ANA - A man was shot while waiting at a bus stop in an apparent drive-by shooting, early Thursday morning.

The shooting was reported in the 1300 block of West Edinger Avenue, near Bristol Street, around 12:12 AM.

When authorities arrived they located the man down near a bus stop suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics rushed the man to an area trauma center where his condition was unknown.

Reports from witnesses indicate that the man was waiting at a bus stop when suspects in an unknown vehicle opened fire.

Additional information regarding the shooting was not immediately available and no suspects were said to be in custody.
