Here is my cover of Helter Skelter, hope you enjoy! This is one of my all-time favourites, and I've been meaning to record a video of it for a while now. It's one of the best songs to play loud. Please subscribe to my channel for more videos, and let me know in the comments what you thought!

Helter Skelter was recorded in early September 1968. The group recorded 18 takes numbered 4 to 21, as some earlier takes were recorded several months prior. The backing track consisted of Paul on rhythm guitar, George's lead guitar, John playing bass on a Fender VI, and Ringo on drums. Mal Evans also took up the trumpet which can be heard towards the end of the song. The final take, number 21, was deemed best for overdubs.

Before the session was finished, Paul overdubbed vocals. The following day consisted of recording overdubs such as Paul's lead guitar lines during the choruses, backing vocals, a piano part played by John, and some more brass instruments to increase the chaos towards the end of the track.

"We had played the hell out of it, so maybe Manson did detect something infernal in it." - Paul McCartney
