Percorro la strada che collega Alghero a Bosa, sono circa 50 km di curve che costeggiano il mare con scorci panoramici talmente belle ed unici tali da consentire a questa strada provinciale di diventare circa dieci anni fa Patrimonio dell'Unesco. La strada provinciale S109, che partendo da Alghero diventa SP49 in provincia di Oristano, corre lungo il mare e disegna curve strette e sinuose per assecondare la conformazione della costa, detta dei Grifoni per la presenza, nell’entroterra e sui promontori rocciosi della più grande colonia italiana di questi avvoltoi.
La prima indelebile immagine di Bosa sarà il quartiere storico di sa Costa, fatto di case variopinte che si inerpicano sulle pendici del colle di Serravalle, dominato dal castello dei Malaspina, risalente al XII secolo. Percorrendo a piedi la via Belvedere è possibile ammirare dall’alto il panorama di tutta la cittadina.
Bosa fu costruita lungo le sponde del fiume Temo ed era una volta un fiorente centro di attività economica. Anche oggi, lungo il fiume, vi sono i resti delle antiche concerie, che una volta venivano usate per produrre un cuoio finissimo che veniva poi esportato in tutta Europa.
Bosa Marina è la spiaggia principale del comune di Bosa, nell'alto oristanese, posta sulla costa occidentale della Sardegna, poco più a sud della foce del fiume Temo, che attraversa il paese bosano. E' dominata dalla Torre di Bosa, una delle più grandi della Sardegna, che svetta a nord della spiaggia.
Direttamente sul golfo di Bosa, in provincia di Oristano, dal belvedere di Sa Lumenera è possibile ammirare tutta la bellezza di Bosa e delle sue spiagge.
A pochi km a sud di Bosa trovo la spiaggia di Porto Alabe, un’ampia distesa di sabbia compatta e a grani medio-grossi, di vari colori, dal bianco al giallo dorato sino all’ocra, che si affaccia su acque limpide che variano dal verde smeraldo al blu, e alle spalle contornata da dune ricoperte di verde mediterraneo: è il gioiello della marina di Tresnuraghes. La spiaggia è orlata da falesie, parte terminante delle rias, ossia colline vulcaniche segnate da gradoni che scendono dolcemente sulla costa.

I travel along the road that connects Alghero to Bosa, there are about 50 km of curves that line the sea with panoramic views so beautiful and unique that this provincial road became a Unesco World Heritage site about ten years ago. The provincial road S109, which starting from Alghero becomes SP49 in the province of Oristano, runs along the sea and draws tight and sinuous curves to accommodate the conformation of the coast, known as the Griffins due to the presence, in the hinterland and on the rocky promontories of the largest Italian colony of these vultures.
The first indelible image of Bosa will be the historic district of sa Costa, made up of colorful houses that climb the slopes of the Serravalle hill, dominated by the Malaspina castle, dating back to the 12th century. Walking along via Belvedere it is possible to admire the panorama of the whole town from above.
Bosa was built along the banks of the Temo River and was once a thriving center of economic activity. Even today, along the river, there are the remains of the ancient tanneries, which were once used to produce very fine leather which was then exported throughout Europe.
Bosa Marina is the main beach of the municipality of Bosa, in the upper Oristano area, located on the western coast of Sardinia, a little further south of the mouth of the river Temo, which crosses the town of Bosa. It is dominated by the Torre di Bosa, one of the largest in Sardinia, which stands out north of the beach.
Directly on the gulf of Bosa, in the province of Oristano, from the viewpoint of Sa Lumenera it is possible to admire all the beauty of Bosa and its beaches.
A few km south of Bosa I find the beach of Porto Alabe, a wide expanse of compact sand with medium-large grains, of various colors, from white to golden yellow to ochre, which overlooks clear waters ranging from emerald green to blue, and behind it surrounded by dunes covered in Mediterranean greenery: it is the jewel of the Tresnuraghes marina. The beach is bordered by cliffs, the final part of the rias, i.e. volcanic hills marked by steps that descend gently to the coast.
