Gradius 5 Review - The End of An Era! Konami and Treasure Shoot Em' Up Mashup! Gradius V (5) is a stone cold classic, we all know that. In today's review I examine the combination of elements that make this crossover between Konami and their famous Gradius series and the beloved shmup studio, Treasure. For those not familiar, Treasure is famous for making Ikaruga and Radiant Silvergun! As fantastic as Gradius 5 is though, it's a bit sad as it is an end of an era. It is also exclusive on the PS2 and due to poor emulation on both PC and PS3, I would recommend playing it on the ps2 - perhaps with some freemcboot modding ;-) This game is hard as hell, so I don't think I will get the 1cc anytime soon, but I do recommend checking out Jaimer's run as he give great advice on how to play. Also check out exmosquito's channel! He has fun commentary clears and he is an og guest on the podcast!
