How to Cut a RC Crawler Tire | Traxxas TRX4 Tire Cutting

It is a very popular thing to do with RC crawler tires - take a knife to them!
Depending on the tire design, some really benefit from cutting, others do not.
The common wisdom for the stock TRX4 Canyon Trails is cutting really does help gain traction.

In this video, I decided to test it for myself on these tires. Good news - it worked!
We cut in 3 areas:
1) remove the small triangle lugs in the center
2) cut apart the large shoulder lug
3) buff down the smaller sidewall lug

1 & 2 are what seem to be typical Canyon Trail cuts. I added 3 on here myself.
