Classic Celtic Matches | 1968/69 League Cup final | Celtic 6-2 Hibernian

A fire at Hampden postponed the League Cup final until April but it proved to be a month when the silverware showered down on Celtic and it started with a goal spree against Hibernian on the fifth of the month. A Bobby Lennox hat-trick was the highlight of the day with Willie Wallace, Bertie Auld and Jim Craig also netting in the 6-2 win over the Easter Road side as 74,000 looked on.
