Tribute to Ravi Zacharias (1946-2020)

Ravi Zacharias is one of the best Christian Apologists who went to be with the Lord on the 19th of May 2020. The Christian community today mourns his death. However, our mourning is different we do not mourn as the world mourns. We do not morn as if we do not have hope. Romans 5:3-5
And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Even Ravi did not lose hope during his time of his suffering through cancer. As he also found hope in Christ when he came to Him as a suicidal young man. He believed that in Christ there is life. He placed all his trust and hope in Christ Jesus. This is the verse that convicted Ravi to submit to Christ: John 14:19
After a little while, the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.
Therefore as we mourn his death, we celebrate his legacy. However, for us, Christians, death is not a loss but gain for when we die, we go to be with the One we love and enjoy, The Triune God. Let us continue to pray for the Zacharias family during this time of the loss.
