It's time for Summer Fun at the Off Grid Tiny Cabin!

I spend a lot of time alone at the tiny cabin. But it never really feels lonely because I have 'Ol River dog with. Now there are a few reasons I chose to create the weekend homestead off the grid up in the northwoods of Minnesota.
A hunting camp, a place to be more self sufficient, a little bug out property when things get bad. But mostly a place that I can leave to my kids for their kids. A place that no matter where they are they are they can still come here to smell the pines and hear the loons calling. A place that maybe they will remember their old dad and his goofy dog that went everywhere with him.

A sunny day on a northern Minnesota lake followed by the crackling of a bonfire is pretty hard to beat.
The one thing that makes it better is having my kids be able to enjoy them with me.

Because in the end. That is all that really matters.
