Here's the first of a line of composers I'll eventually get through...Beethoven. It was a lot of fun to try and sound Beethoven-y with bits of his music blended in. I hope you enjoy it!

Lyrics:
Around December 17th, 1770
Ludwig was born to the Beethoven’s in Bonn, Germany
His musical father saw young Ludwig’s ability
So, the five-year-old, his father taught, often, abusively
Through tutors, he learned piano, violin and composing
At 13, he first published, which at that age is imposing
In his 20s, he moved to Vienna, Haydn helped him grow
A piano virtuoso, nobility, he got to know
Ludwig never wed, though twice, he loved from a distance
Both were above his social class, sadly, he had no chance
To Josephine, his first love, Moonlight Sonata he wrote
And to Therese, his second, Fur Elise made note by note
Chorus
A brilliant man of music, blazed a trail all of his own
To Beethoven, nobility bowed, his fame caste in stone
In his 30s, he began losing ability to hear
He contemplated suicide, but bravely lost his fear
This decade, he composed in ‘Heroic’ qualities
With grand arrangements of his 3rd through 8th symphonies
In the 1810s, he had troubles with illness and family
Then, he finished his ninth symphony in 1823
Health problems worsened for Ludwig, though he still wrote
Till March 26, 1827, he played his last note
10,000 turned out in Vienna for his procession
and to his nephew, Karl, Ludwig left all his possessions
Ludwig van Beethoven, more than 700 pieces penned
A lonely man who gave his soul till empty at the end
