SPS heat shrink 11kV cable joints are available to joint 3 core PILC (Paper Insulated Lead Covered) to 3 single core XLPE cables - this includes 11kV cable jointing PILC onto single XLPE cables with copper tape or copper wire screen.

This type of high voltage trifurcating transition 11kV cable joint is typically used by electrical utilities and contractors to connect or joint existing 3 core PILC cables onto new type 11kV single core XLPE cables, such as Triplex BS7870 cable in the UK.

11kV trifurcating transition cable joints are also available to joint 11kV PILC 3 core cables to 11kV XLPE single core cables with AWA (aluminium wire armour) and copper tape screens.

11kV 3 core polymeric trifurcating cable joints are available from stock to joint 3 core XLPE to 3 single core XLPE cables - cable joints include mechanical shearbolt connectors to enable quick connecting of copper/aluminium conductors with either round (circular) or shaped (sector) conductors.

All 11kV cable joints can be supplied with shell and resin if preferred to 100% heat shrink standard joint kit.
