Prague Zoo - truly one of the best Zoos in the world? | Zoo Reviews

Prague Zoo or Zoo Praha is considered one of the best zoos in the world! But is it really?
One thing is for sure: Prague Zoo has more to offer than most other zoos in the Czech Republic or in the whole of Europe. On a total area of 58 hectares, you can admire an amazing collection of animals, some of which you can only see in a few other places. From shoebills to pangolins, you can admire amazing creatures here! And all in a fantastic park setting, with an iconic hillside location.

And with the Dja Reserve, an impressive new gorilla complex has recently been opened for the first time!

But Prague Zoo isn't perfect either, because while more modern sections of the park seem great, at least at first glance, some of the older enclosures are rather mediocre. Does this detract from the overall experience? Perhaps a little. Is it worth a visit? Definitely! Accordingly, I am delighted to introduce you to Prague Zoo in detail today.
