Frankfurt Zoological Garden - between old and new | ZOO REVIEW

Frankfurt Zoo is one of the oldest and most important zoos in Germany, but is it also one of the best? Is it worth a visit? No. And yes.

There were long, long discussions about whether the park should move to the outskirts of the city, and as a result, investment was halted for far too long. So there are numerous legacy issues in Frankfurt, some of which date back to the Grzimek era, but now we can finally look hopefully to the future, especially with the new master plan.
