Rocky Mountain Concours d’Elegance | Colorado Car Shows

Описание к видео Rocky Mountain Concours d’Elegance | Colorado Car Shows

My Classic Car is heading to the Rockies for an incredible Concours d’Elegance on the grounds of Colorado Springs’ beautiful Broadmoor Hotel. The array of high-end automobiles and collector cars here is superb, but the one-of-a-kind hand-built super car we found nestled here between the peaks is breathtaking. This aluminum-bodied roadster is designed to look like a late 1950’s Italian sports car but packs the contemporary technology underneath to blow any vintage racer away. You’ll be just as blown away when you see this amazing machine.

We start this episode off, though, with an unbelievable barn find. This 1957 Dual Ghia convertible is a wonderfully restored Italian/Mopar collaboration. Featuring Italian bodywork and interior design, this luxurious sports car performs as nicely as its styling because of the Dodge drive train and D500 Hemi engine. It’s powerful, beautiful, and manages to stand out among the crowd of amazing vehicles at this Concours.

Then we head over to find out more about Drew Alcazar’s 1966 Lamborghini 350 GT. This grand tourer is as stunning as it is rare. Featuring an immense amount of irreplaceable compound curved glass, you can see the gorgeous Italian interior from nearly every angle. Powered by a 3.5L V12 engine, this early production Lamborghini is an amazing piece of automotive engineering. You’ve got to check this baby out!

One unique category at this show is the Historic Hot Rod Class, so of course we had to feature one. Originally built in 1948 as a fender-free lowboy style Rod, this custom roadster has been through multiple iterations before becoming the metallic pink showstopper that it is now. The style and capabilities of this West Coast creation are show-worthy enough, but the story of its lineage is one of the most interesting parts.

And when you’re at a Concour d’Elegance like this one, you expect to see some very high-end luxury classics, and the museum quality Packard we found is a perfect example. One of only 7 known to exist, this extremely rare 2-Door 1937 Packard 1507 has a V12 engine and a rumble seat. It’s a massive 5600lb. coupe with elegant adornments throughout, and it’s absolutely gorgeous.

From the amazing Rocky Mountain views to the unbelievable showcase of top-notch classic automobiles, you’ll love this episode of MCC. Watch it now!
