In this webinar, we will explore the contemporary challenge of personalizing psychological therapies, tracing its historical roots to intuitive and empirically based clinical decision making. We will explore concepts of personalization in child and adolescent as well as adult psychological therapy. From selecting treatment components to matching patients to specific treatment modules, we review the evidence for various forms of personalization, acknowledge current limitations, and envision the future of tailored psychotherapy. This comprehensive exploration includes the evolution of evidence-based psychological therapies, factors that influence their effectiveness, and innovative approaches to expanding the reach of psychotherapy and tailoring treatments to individual patients.
