4 Patch Quilt Block Half Square Triangles? Fun Fix for Busy Blocks!

https://leahday.com/blogs/free/4-patc... I made another batch of 4 Patch Quilt Blocks using charm packs and they turned out too busy. This ended up being a fun fix for busy quilt blocks as stitching then into half square triangles saved the day!

Piecing Steps - I pieced the 4 Patches using two charm packs (5 inch squares). So the resulting 4 Patches measured 9.5 inches. Each block was stacked with a 10-inch layer cake square in a solid color. Stitch to both sides of the diagonal line, cut apart, and you'll have 2 - 4 Patch Half Square Triangles. Carefully press a crease line in the middle of the blocks and use that to help align your ruler and trim the resulting blocks to measure 8 1/2 inches square.
