Sparks - Essen Release Preview from rulebook

Sparks is a game by drian Adamescu, Kristian Amundsen Østby, Florin Purluca, Kjetil Svendsen, illustrated by Reese Keefe published Alion – by Dr Ø announced for Essen 2024.

It is a 45 minutes long engine building, where you improve a factory and build robot. There is a dice seletion mecanism, then these dice will be use or your board to be placed on spots of matching color or number. Building robot will give you one-shot or recurring bonuses, improving the factory will give you permanent amelioration for more flexibility.
But you also have assistant cards : this seems to lead your long-term strategy, by planing how much and when you want to add them to your factory, at a costly price if you engage too many of them. This will probably gives a lot of variability to each game.

I read the rules and share an overview of them as weel as the impression it gives me.

It looks cute and interresting, I want to play it !
