What happens when you buy a burned historic home built in the 18th century, then discover a hidden, ramshackle hoarders cottage on the property? If you are Laine and Kevin, you fix it up and live in it! What could possibly go wrong??? Well, if you are Laine and Kevin, probably a lot!

When you find a hoarders home stuck in the middle of your property the first thing you have to do is clean it out...but that isn't nearly as easy as it sounds. In this case it required several fully grown men and full PPE. Once you've cleaned it out it's time to start the demo! when the floors are rotten demo becomes much easier !

How much cottage do you really have when you have to replace the roof, the sill beams, the floors joists, all the plumbing, wiring and HVAC? Well....not a lot, but more than none! Even a house one third built is more than no house at all, right? RIGHT?

Then, we introduce you to all the members of our team, both four legged and two. We couldn't do this without them! And as a break from the stress and strain lets spend an afternoon at an incredible estate auction buying some amazing antiques we absolutely did not need.
