Dare I say that the 'bromances' in Hwarang are more captivating than the other romances. With a predominantly male cast, the opportunities for moments of cute banter and play fighting are abound, and the drama has definitely delivered.

Soo Ho and Ban Ryu’s enemies-to-bros story is to full of cute moments like this ☝️

Dedicated to my favorite Hwarang AFTER Kim Ji Dwi/Sammaekjeong/King Jin Heung : Park Ban Ryu and Kim Soo Ho.

1. Do Ji Han as Park Ban Ryu (박반류).
Having been taught politics (by his two fathers – Park Young Shil and Park Ho as his adoptive and biological fathers respectively) from an early age. Ban Ryu is a cold-blooded jin-gol, who is competitive and seeks for more power. The ice Prince Park Ban Ryu finally falling in love with Soo Ho's younger sister, Soo Yeon.

2. Choi Min Ho as Kim Soo Ho (김수호).
A jin-gol aristocrat born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Hot-blooded and chivalrous, he aces in swordplay and is seen as a shameless playboy but is devoted in love. Kim Soo Yeon's overprotective brother.

Ban Ryu and Soo Ho's rivalry is one of my reason to watched this series. To be honest, I don't like the main lead, I watched this series for the King (Park Hyung Sik) and the sweet rivalry between these two boys.
