Our Favorite Bull Moose in the Snow Moose video
Good morning and welcome to Moose & Coffee! We are just back from our Maine moose trip, but there is much production to be done before we share. We’ll share a Maine Moose video on Wednesday this coming week.
For today on this summer day in July, we’ll take you back to last year in the snow near the end of the rut.
Watch for these memorable moments with Flat Top doing a big snow shake at 45 seconds, an appearance by a big favorite…Left Hook at 1:17 seconds, Flat Top appears again at 2:07 seconds, followed by Turkey at 2::20 seconds. Tugging at my heart is Grumpy at 2:40 seconds, which moves to Slew in the big snow dump in Sept of 2021 at 3:00 seconds and finishing up with a small antlered Blake (Flat Top) in 2021 at the end. Wow, were we ever shocked when we realized Blake was Flat Top when we arrived in 2022.
And of course, Flat Top’s story in general is amazing from that tiny little bull we used to call Spunky to who he is now. It is truly amazing to be able to follow them year by year.

Thanks for watching our channel, we are the husband/wife team of Rick and Libby Libbey, (Libby squared), New Hampshire wildlife photographers (and part time Alaska.) It is our passion to document wildlife of any kind, but moose are definitely at the top. In New Hampshire we spend a lot of our spring/summer hours in kayaks photographing loons and moose in the waters of New Hampshire.
