Psychiatric Assessment | Adult ADHD

In this video, I explain what the actual 1hr ADHD assessment and diagnosis with the psychiatrist was like, from the unusual questions I was asked to the difficulties of digging into the past. I was diagnosed with ADHD last year, at 43 years old. It was a lot! I'm sharing my journey so that others can feel less alone. The process of assessment and diagnosis can seem overwhelming and might make you feel anxious, which is all to be expected when you're navigating new territory. Especially when you're possibly not feeling at your most sharp and 'together'!
