CP 2816 Chase Across Eastern ND and Western MN| 5/1/2024

CPKC wanted to celebrate their one year anniversary in a very special way. Running their steam engine 2816 from Calagry, AB to Mexico City. This is the first time in 17 years since 2816 has been in the states, making it a very special treat to see this pulling the train. We start off west of Balfour, ND with the Connia Slough in the background, then catch it last time on the Portal Sub in Anamoose. Next we start off on the Carrington Sub just east of Harvey and get a couple of times before getting onto the Elbow Lake Sub and one last scene in North Dakota. We see the train in Nashua, crossing the BNSF Morris Sub and end the chase at Hoffman. This train would spend the night at Humboldt and head to Humboldt yard the following day.
