The use of these tools is beneficial to archaeologists as sometimes they cannot dig

Archaeologists' tools
1. Above the ground:

They can locate things by using :
GPS (Global Positioning System)
2. Under the ground:
• To discover objects buried underground, they use this radar:

ground penetrating radar
This radar can discover objects buried underground.
Magnetometer
This measures a magnetic field. It can find metal underground.
