Boarischer - Dance with Keine Kunst

Описание к видео Boarischer - Dance with Keine Kunst

Boarischer, also known as St. Gilgens Figurentanz, comes from St. Gilgen, a village in the Austrian state of Salzburg. While this dance is commonly called Boarischer, it does not contain a Boarisch step that is usually featured in Boarischer dances. Instead it features a march section and a schuhplattler section. The original form of this dance did not include a schuhplattler, but instead it included a clapping sequence. The schuhplattler was adopted through time and is now a very common version that is performed.

This dance is performed by Edgar and Charlotte with Nick joining at the end to demonstrate the plattler. They are three senior members of the group, with Nick being our current Vorplattler.
