Bugs And Weathermen Destroyed My Soybeans

Today we find ourselves out checking on the soybeans I replanted in the roller crimped triticale. While there are some nice even stands throughout the field...the same cannot be said for others. I don't know at this point what has been more damaging to this soybean field; the grasshoppers, locusts, and chinch bugs...or the weathermen who can't make an accurate rain prediction to save their lives. The inability of weathermen to make a decent prediction has led to me making mistakes in management and pushing this ground harder than it should have been with the little bit of rain we have gotten. Will I plant this field for third time? Or will I just take the "L" that mother nature has dished out?
