《魔法公主》是日本知名導演宮崎駿在 1997 年推出的經典動畫電影。故事描述日本中世紀時代，少年阿席達卡與由犬神養大的魔法公主，合力調解人類與山神之間流血衝突的故事。作品流露出濃厚的環保意識。本組曲由史詩般的「阿席達卡傳奇」、充滿殺氣「邪魔神」與淒美動人的「魔法公主」三個部份組成。

Princess Mononoke is a classic animated 1997 film from renowned Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki. The story takes place in medieval Japan and revolves around a boy named Ashitaka and a magical princess raised by wolves. The two work together to mediate the bloody conflict between humans and forest gods. The work expresses a strong environmental consciousness. The suite consists of three parts: the epic “Legend of Ashitaka”, the menacing “Demon God”, and the poignant and beautiful “Princess Mononoke”.
