Group into sets of 4 minis of each color.
Presoaked 30 minutes in tap water with no additional acid
[3:35] The dyes
Dharma acid dyes Midnight Blue, Alpine Blue, Hyacinth, Peach Blush, Duckling
Standby colors, Ballerina Pink and Flamingo Pink
[4:35] Setting up to dye the prototype
Add the yarn side ways folded in half in the pan.
add plain tap water - no acid - on the yarn. Enough to move the dye through
The yarn mop has no acid in it either!
[7:28] Dyeing the one pan prototype

[21:30] Adding acid and heat setting the yarn
Let the yarn sit for 10 minutes before heating it.
Add 5 T whtie vinegar (there were about 8 cups water to begin with)
Add liquid mostly at the lighter end slowly and then heat for 30 minutes
