Professor Mojtaba Mahdavi on "Rethinking China, the Middle East and Asia in a 'Multiplex World'"

Professor at the University of Alberta, Mojtaba Mahdavi's work focuses on middle eastern studies, political economy, contemporary islamic studies, decolonial/postcolonial studies and discursive/intellectual transformations in a MENA/muslim context.

In this video, we focus on his collectively written work "Rethinking China, the Middle East and Asia in a 'Multiplex World'". It explores the inclusion of China in the MENA region and what it can possibly mean for our world.
