Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 update as of November 2017

Update number 45 for Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 by dmitrivalencia

The current tollplaza of Skyway near Nichols / Sales area is almost complete minor works remain... As for the new addition to the existing skyway - the C5 Cavitex Link -linking C5 to C5 extension going towards Cavitex is on going, piers are placed along the PNR line.

Section 1
1:00 - Pier 12 - 13 Girder installed
Pier 14 - the cask is removed / concrete beams ready
There are still some pier without the beams
1:26 - Girders installed Pier 21 and above..
Pier 28 it seems slabs are in placed
1:43 - On ramp update
2:08 - Pier 46 to 47 up to 49 no girder installed yet
2:44 - as you can see along Pier 56 57 pipes are installed for rain water / manlift is at p61 as of this documentation
From the stretch of Pier 61 you could see the changes along the center island / barriers were removed on this area easing traffic
4:57 - Designer depot area - on going works with the pile boring machine / goodbye jollibee and shakeys
5:28 - Pier 89 - grid case being ready for concrete pouring / beam

Section 2

There are notable updates along Pier 96 (Check out the designs after pier96)

7:45 - I am not sure if this is related to the Skyway works but there was a barge and some cylindrical steel in placed, took some pictures / might be something to do with reinforcing ?

Section 3
More girders were installed
9:57 Ps3-37 girders installed / i wonder why there is not much change on ps3 - 38
10:25 Ps3-43 - pouring cured, concrete beam can be seen already
The other post beside ps3-43 like ps3-45 steel rebars being placed
ps3-46 - you could see what inaction of moving the transmission lines can do to delay the works? Same goes with PS3-68 to 69
13:13 - this area has been so far very active on section 3. You could see the pier heads / beams in place and the formation of the skyway from this point with the future ramps and transition to double decker

Section 4
13:38 - I wonder why the PS4-04R and PS4-05R has a different design than the others
You could see from ps4-10 that the post and pier heads are in place, would love to see when they install the girders
16:40 - on going works / merge to one lane traffic
A bonifacio - more girders placed

Apologies for the terminologies... I am not an engineer nor an architect to be familiar with the proper words... The video is also not an official skyway update video from the contractor nor from the government, i am just doing this for hobby and interest of the said project. Enjoy watching!
