Eating Homemade Moroccan Food In The Mountains | ALMA, Agadir, Morocco

Alma is a family run cooperative where you can enjoy traditional Moroccan food while sitting in tents near the mountains. It is a very calm and serene spot to enjoy when you want a break from the bustle of Agadir City, and is located 40 minutes outside the city, and 20 minutes from Ourir. If you don't feel comfortable in a tent, there are a variety of traditional Moroccan seating areas with beautiful views of the mountains to sit and drink tea. Upon arrival you can order Moroccan mint tea, amlou (almond butter), smen (homemade butter), and olive oil with bread, made in a traditional oven. Definitely one of our favorite spots in Agadir and don't forget to check out the Amazigh Artifact Museum located on the left as you arrive through the front entrance. Thank you so much to Mr. Hussein and his family for creating this lovely, creative spot. They were not comfortable being on camera but we are so grateful to them for highlighting the beauty of Amazigh culture and Morocco's nature.
