A live performance by Bars and Melody of their début single Hopeful on CBBC's Friday Download.

Bars and Melody—Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan—were Simon Cowell's golden-buzzer act in Britain's Got Talent 2014, meaning they went straight through to the live shows. They won their semi-final on the public vote and came third in the final with a performance of Hopeful.

Leondre and Charlie have since been signed by Simon's Sycho Music record label and Hopeful is being released as an EP on 27 July.

Hopeful started life as 'No More Tears' (   • Leondre Devries: No More Tears (ft. Katie-...  ), a rap written by Leo before he'd met Charlie. The two boys later worked together, adapting No More Tears into Hopeful.
