今日は、ガソリンタンクの制作です。

元々のオイルタンクを加工して第二ガソリンタンクに改造します。
第一ガソリンタンクから自然に落下したガソリンが第二タンクにたまります。そのままガソリンを入れ続けて、最終的に第一ガソリンタンクの入り口までがガソリンがきて満タンになります。

ガソリンが細いホースを通って第二ガソリンタンクに落ちていくので、空気の抜け穴用のホースを通しています。これがないとガソリンが落ちていかなくなります。

なぜこのような複雑な構造にするかというと、単純にガソリンの量を増やしたいから。
ナローなガソリンタンクはかっこいいですが、3ℓしか入らなかったらろくに走ることもできません。バイクは走ってなんぼなので、実際に走行するとこもしっかりと考えて制作しています。

The gasoline that naturally falls from the first gasoline tank will accumulate in the second tank. Continue to fill the tank with gasoline, and eventually the entrance to the first gasoline tank will be filled with gasoline.

As the gasoline falls through a thin hose into the second gasoline tank, a hose for an air vent is passed through it. Without this, the gasoline will not fall through.

The reason why we make such a complicated structure is simply because we want to increase the amount of gasoline.
A narrow gas tank looks cool, but if it can only hold 3 liters, it can't even run well. A motorcycle is only as good as the way it runs, so the actual running of the bike is also carefully considered in the production process.
