Bogus Basin: Deer Point Express

Installed in 1996 to replace a Yan double, this Doppelmayr UNI-M(Spacejet) detachable quad serves the main front face of Bogus Basin and up until the installation of Morningstar Express, was the main out of base workhorse at Bogus. It’s a very busy lift and while it regularly forms a line, it keeps them moving rather well, it has also run summers for a large portion of its life and has very high hours and is showing its age a bit, although it still runs fantastically and appears to be very well maintained. It serves predominantly blue terrain as well as a few short blacks. Overall it’s an artery of Bogus’s lift system and I could see this being the first detachable here to get a 6-pack upgrade.
