Continuing our Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Beginner's Guide series, we are taking a look at the most OP unit in RA3 & the entire C&C franchise - Allied Cryocopter! Cryocopters are the Tier 2 "support" aircraft of Allies. They can quickly freeze down ground targets, allowing your units to one-shot frozen victims. Cryocopters are bulky enough to directly confront multiple anti-air vehicles, and excel in harvester harassment when paired with one Vindicator (bomb split). The Cryo Rush build ends the game in less than 3 minutes, and is especially effective against Empire of the Rising Sun. Cryocopter's special ability, S.H.R.I.N.K. Beam, shrinks down a unit in size, enhancing its speed and greatly cutting down its firepower, armor, and range. Shrunken units also get crushed by larger vehicles.

For Cryocopter's strategy, you can combo them with transports such as IFV and Riptide ACV. Shrinking transports lets you pull off gimmicky plays with Spy, Javelin Soldiers, or Tanya. If you choose to shrink your own MCV, you can move faster to expand or Turret push.
