F-14 Fleet Defender • Korea: Return to the ROK / M7: Insurance

Thanks to our successful strikes, NK has started talking about traties. Someone thought up a brilliant plan to make sure they will be serious at the negotiations - we will be performing an air sweep above the Pyongyang.

For this mission to be deemed successful, we have to make sure that we down every enemy aircraft with minimal friendly losses (max 2 down Tomcats). This will be hard, since there are still active SAM sites around the capital.

And I failed the mission, don't know how I could make this better though, since most losses were from SAMs. Perhaps if the crews of the F-14s were more experienced they wouldn't got shot down (in Fleet Defender there is similar mechanic to Falcon 3 where crews get experience when flying missions, you can leverage this by going to Oceana for some training before starting a campaign). At least we will have some challenging mission ahead, since it seems China will join the fight.

Final score: 14 enemy aircraft downed with 4 friendly Tomcats lost (all crews KIA).
