Hello everyone! We have finally received information about the version 4.8 banners, and guess what: Neither Wriothesley nor Shenhe are getting their reruns in the next patch. The source of this information is Fullstopchan, who has a decent track record and accurately predicted the 4.6 and 4.7 banners. So, this information is reliable and unlikely to change in the future.

Version 4.8 is scheduled to release on July 17th, and the characters who will be getting their reruns in the next patch are Nilou and Navia in phase one, and Emilie and Yelan in phase two. Yes, you heard it right. Yelan is getting a rerun in version 4.8, which no one expected. Yelan's last banner was featured in phase one of version 4.0, back in August 2023, so I can't say I'm surprised to see her again.

However, I thought that since she has already had three banners, Hoyoverse would put her on the chronicled wish banner, especially when three characters haven't received their reruns in Fontaine so far. Anyway, I will finally be able to get her signature weapon, so it's a win for me.

Talking about surprises, one thing that surprised me is that Emilie will get her banner in phase two, not in phase one. First, they release a 5-star character this close to a new region's release, and second, I'm pretty sure she'll be important in the future when Natlan characters are released. In my opinion, they should have released either Sigewinne or Emilie as a 4-star character because Fontaine has been super expensive, just like French things.

Other than Emilie and Yelan, Navia is getting her first rerun in version 4.8. This too didn't surprise me since I had already said in one of my previous videos that Navia would definitely get a rerun in 4.8 since the abyss is tailor-made for her. But I'm shocked that Wriothesley isn't getting a rerun in 4.8. He was released in 4.1 alongside Neuvillette, who has already received his rerun in 4.5, but there's still no sign of Wriothesley so far.

Navia was released in 4.3, one patch after his release, and Hoyo is planning her rerun, so why not Wriothesley? Why is Yelan on the banner when Wriothesley should be the one getting a rerun? Well, I don't have any answers to these questions, but one thing I know is that you can't predict what goes through their minds because I'm certain that they have completely forgotten about Shenhe. Or maybe this was their plan all along and that's why they gave her and Ganyu a new outfit in 4.4, so they don't have to rerun them.

One more thing, the source didn't reveal any information about the chronicled wish banner, so I'm guessing that there won't be any chronicled wish in version 4.8. Therefore, we will not see the Liyue special banner in the next patch, and this will be the first time some characters won't rerun in an entire region's arc.

If you don't know, characters like Ganyu, Shenhe, and Kokomi haven't received their reruns in Fontaine so far, and now it's basically confirmed that they won't get a rerun before Natlan. So, if you wanted any of these three characters, you will have to wait some time to get them.

And at last, Nilou is finally getting her rerun in the next patch. We knew that she was getting a new outfit, but that didn't mean she would also get a rerun because we have seen what happened in the past with Ayaka in 3.4. But now, those who were waiting for her will finally be able to wish on her banner. So, you better start saving your primogems if you want any of these characters.
