ROMA INVICTA! Vercingetorix's Surrender to Caesar (HBO's Rome, S01E01)

There may have been some struggles, but the Roman war machine can not be stopped! The aftermath of the Roman-Gaul wars was a decisive victory for the Roman and humiliation for the Gauls. In a very ''romanly'' manner, the chief of the Averni tribe, Vercingetorix, is humiliated by being forced to kiss the Roman Eagle.
