GoldStar Traction Elevator in George Town, Penang

A typical GoldStar installation from the 1990s, though with a flat floor indicator display rather than the typical slanted one. It seems that this elevator was on independent service mode as the doors had to be manually closed by holding down the door close button. GoldStar elevators are pretty rare in Malaysia.
