The secrets to creating a Power BI report that can change colour at a click of the button using a combination of selection, bookmarks and buttons.

This video was inspired by Sales & Marketing sample report that was published by Microsoft in PBI service.

This report used a combination of Selection + Bookmark + Buttons to create an app like experience, that allows charts to change colours at at a click of a button.

I studied the report to understand the secret behind the magic.. and I must say that it took me a while to figure out how to rebuild the report from scratch, as it uses a combination of buttons, bookmark and selection which may be difficult to comprehend when you are still new to Power BI.

So, if you are feeling confused by bookmarks, buttons and selections, don't worry, you are not lone.
In this video, I will help you to take away those confusions.
