The BEST Fish & Chips in New Zealand?! | Northland, NZ Roadtrip (Part 3)

The Mangonui Fish Shop is famed around New Zealand for allegedly serving some of the best fish & chips in the entire country! A claim as bold as that required some intense food fact-checking on our behalf so we obviously decided to try their take on a classic Kiwi summer dish for ourselves!

Our Northland road trip continues as we also explore the historic town of Kerikeri and sate our sweet tooth at a childhood favourite of ours and one of the best confectionery makers in NZ, Makana Confections!

We end our day with a monster ribs platter from Jimmy Jack's Rib Shack back at Paihia. This restaurant is incredibly popular in Paihia and their ribs are nothing short of legendary!
