Stephen J. Cavalieri, Ph.D., D(ABMM) from Creighton University Medical Center, is a Professor of Pathology and the Director of Microbiology. In this 50 minute presentation, Dr. Cavalieri will speak to updates in the laboratory diagnosis of HIV infections. The CDC issued a new algorithm for HIV testing. Dr. Cavalieri explains the new changes and, as well, presents a brief historical background on HIV testing.
