Checkers opening walkthrough: Cross

Another key opening I recommend all players study and learn is the Cross. There are many, many variations of the Cross, and even entire books dedicated to it. There are also several openings affiliated with the Cross opening, but today's video is all about the traditional and tried and true development. The Cross shows why the initiative and tempo are so important, and why the timing of each piece is critical in checkers.
