Second time changing the spark plugs on the Ford Flex, first time changing the coils. First time for both on this Flex, as I had changed the spark plugs back in 2015 on our 2009 model SEL. Both engines were the 3.5L with front wheel drive. It is an easier job than it may seem. Despite having to take the upper intake manifold off, it's pretty straightforward. I think it took me like an hour and a half, maybe two hours moving at a snail's pace.
