[About this song]
This song was produced as an insert song for the animated war movie "フクチャンの潜水艦/Fuku-chan's Submarine". "フクチャン/Fuku-chan” was a manga series by manga artist Ryuichi Yokoyama, serialized in the Asahi Shimbun newspaper from October 1936, and its popularity led to its use as war propaganda. The lyrics of this song were written by Ryuichi Yokoyama himself and sung by comedian Roppa Furukawa, who sang many war comic songs.
