(*Relentless* Kickdown!) Arriva Merseyside Volvo B7TL ALX 400: CX06 EBK

Back in February last year (How the time has flown!), I popped out to Bootle Strand, to do a late evening run on CX06 EBK - A long since withdrawn B7TL ALX 400 from March 2006 that was new to Arriva Merseyside, and has always natively operated here, that I'd not yet done by that point.

At the time of this video's release, just a few days ago, it was announced that Ryan Low (Arriva Merseyside's Duty Manager), and David Norris (An employee at Stagecoach Merseyside), had purchased this bus for preservation, after it sitting idle at Laird Street Depot since December 2023.

These buses were my childhood, and they've played a huge part in me becoming who I am today - With only two left at the time of publishing, I was starting to wonder if any would survive outside of the lucky few sold onto other operators, but that's luckily no longer a concern!

Either way, enjoy a run from Bootle to Speke, on the second to last 81 of the night - With an extremely eager to get home driver pushing this B7 to it's limits, truly showing what it's capable of!
