(Kickdown!) Arriva Merseyside Dennis Trident ADL Enviro 400: LJ08 CYH

Back in March, I finally got the chance to ride Arriva Merseyside's 4699 - A Unique Tridentviro that was brought over from Arriva London in 2022, still in (for the most part) TFL condition - Including it's rear doors still in tact!

New as Arriva London's T55 as part of a batch of 65 Enviro 400 Tridents in June 2008 to Croydon Garage (TC), It remained there it's entire career, last operating in the capital in 2021 out of Dartford (DT).

It entered service with us in May 2022, and has a much simpler life then it did in the capital - Due to it's second door, it's been banned from being used on conventional services (Just like Stagecoach Merseyside's many dual doors from the PeoplesBus acquisition), instead solely being used on Rail Replacement services - It's nowadays based out of Bootle Depot, at a healthy 16 years old.

Enjoy a kickdown filled run through the south of Liverpool, into the city centre.
