Zoom - Show Video in the Waiting Room - New Feature for January 2022

The Zoom Waiting Room is a popular feature for Zoom Meetings. The Waiting Room feature allows the host to control when a participant joins the meeting. As the meeting host, you can admit attendees one by one, or hold all attendees in the Waiting Room and admit them all at once. Zoom has updated the Waiting Room with a new feature in Zoom version 5.9.3, released on January 25, 2022. You can now add a video in your waiting room for participants to see. Video formats can be MOV, MP4, and M4V.

How to upload a video:
Click upload to select a video file for upload. The video must be in MP4, MOV, or M4V format, and cannot exceed 30 MB. Videos can include sound but are muted by default. Note: Videos for the waiting room require version 5.7.3 or higher.

Can the video contain audio? Yes
Is the audio on by default? The audio is muted by default, but each user can unmute the audio.
What is the maximum file size? 30 MB
