Whitney Plantation Tour

My family and I went to the Whitney Plantation. This place is different from numerous plantations in the South because it gives a detailed and personal account of the lives of the slaves who lived there. For those who attended HBCU's, this video gives you a visual example of what we learned in our African American Studies courses. For everyone else, I highly suggest you watch this and learn what you were not taught in your traditional American history classes. Slavery still affects today and this place needs much more attention from all people in the world.
